I'm feeling so sleepy again.
Hahahaha, whats with me? Ate lunch with MeiYin. Then went to City Hall with Suzette, Cindy and YiMei. Ate NiWa Sushi for dinner! Heehee, nice nice! (: Prices are also reasonable. Suzette said something about eating too much raw food and there will be worms in your brain. Hahaha, that's what she read from an email. Window-shopped till 8pm. Meanwhile, they asked me questions about my problems and all that. Cindy said I looked like Olivia. If I'm not wrong, she's the 8th person who said that. Somehow, I think I lack of a lot of sleep. My eye bags are getting darker and more. Just munched on a few cucumbers. Heehee, nice and refreshing! I like cucumbers somehow, whereas my brother will puke upon tasting it. Hahahaha. Breakthru camp was awesome!
The most touching moment was Day 3. I cried in the bus on the way back to school. Ahh, not really cry, just tear. I think Wess saw me tearing when students went up to thank the mentors. As I grow up, I realised that I become more and more emotional. Zzz. A lot of things happened during the camp and I'm lazy to list them all out. Never mind lets start. DAY 1 Welcomed by our mentors! Took 45mins to settle down. Did Ice-Breaking as we were not in the same class. Jumbled up with different classes. I was in Green house, (Green 2 ; G2) My FM (Family Mentor) was Dwight! Heehee. Nice person (: There was a little bit of studying throughout the day, learning about the '3Rs': -Relationship -Responsibility -Resilience Had activities like Dog and Bone etc etc. Were assigned to dorms and practically our dorm was the largest among the female dorms. I liked group time. We get to bond with our mentor more. Moreover, he loves us so much despite we being so reluctant at first! (: Its really nice of them to encourage us. I didn't feel like participating in the cheer actually. Soon, after going through so many things with my team and mentor, I got out of my comfort zone. Slept in air-conditioned room! DAY 2 We started to go 'Rah-Rah' already. All super hyperactive already by day 2. We really changed. Especially my team. I was at first "Waste my time coming to this camp, all we do is listen to talks..." on Day 1. I was then "Woohoo! G2 rocks! Go team!" on Day 2. See the BIG difference? Indoor games for an hour. Planning for skit/decorating flag for another 1 hour or so. Hahaha, my group was totally amazing! Ronnie had the idea of 'imitating' Mr Glenn's life. Hahaha, my role was okay just that made a lot of mistakes I think. Luckily my mentor was behind me. I was the narrator. The teachers were all staring at me as they were like shock. Heehee. They know that I'm a very shy and timid person. That is my testimony. I changed to become a better person through the camp! How great is that?! :D Showcase Night! AWESOME! Did cheers and all. The mentors did a dance! 3 Cheers! (: We were the first to present the skit. I wasn't even mentally prepared, but with the encouragements of my friends and teammates, I did my best and so did they too! Watched a video that they made with the photos taken of us. Did the pledge with light sticks! So cool. Green house had 'The Most Initiative' award! Had a little of class admin time. Tired but still persisted myself to keep my eyes and brains awake. This is called RESILIENCE! (: Hahahaha. Teachers dismissed us off to our dorms. DAY 3 Last day in camp. My smile was still very wide this morning. Slowly, my smile just disappeared. A lot of people thought that something was troubling me. I told them I was tired. (Excuses :X! ) The actual reason was that I'm really reluctant to leave my mentors and teammates. Woke up at 7.15am. Heehee :X Did the necessary things. Then went to assemble at the 'hall'. Sat according to classes. Breakfast. Clear up. We cleared one of the guys' dorm. I helped to fold blankets, bedsheets and a few pillow cases. We all tried doing it fast so that we can spend more time with our mentors. Went back to the 'hall' to assemble. We had group time. I was rushing through the letter but time was a constrain. I wrote 2 lines of the foolscap paper in my puny handwriting. Could have written more if there was enough time. Dwight told us how he felt of us. Group photos. Mr Glenn Lim talked to us awhile and we went off. In the bus I read the notes and I really just let the tears just flow. :/ That's it for the camp.
