 Merry Christmas! (: Christmas this year really marks a very significant one. Went down to Aljunied MRT with my brother. Then he left to somewhere else. XiuYing saw my brother. (: She said that we looked alike. Haha. Met MeiYin this morning. Gave her the gift. Went for lunch. Merry Christmas-ed to a lot of people. Some took the initiative, while for some, I took the initiative. Kind of funny. Went home around 5.15pm. First time spending Christmas. That feeling has been missing for so many years, and finally found it. - Glad that Annabelle has taken my advice and listened to me. Cheer up alright, you'll not walk this path alone as He'll be there with you through thin and thick. Double The Joy,11:11 AM

 Photo from MeiYin! Hello! It's really a joy to help others. Went for Carol Guni yesterday! Contributed 7 can food. Haha, I tried my best to contribute as much as I could. The weather was great. Not too hot, not too cold. Just nice. Took another route yesterday due to the insufficient amount of people in the other group so we were asked to join the other group. The houses there were HUGE. But what's the point of having such a humongous house and having to take so long just to answer the doorbell? Did lots of caroling. The kids there were cute. Aww. Our group managed to collect 191 can food with the help of the residents. Yay! The total number of can food collected (plus other groups) was 571. The perspiration and the tiredness were really worth it. I really believe that everyone has a little compassion in their heart. - Anyway, I planned to take bus 100 home yesterday but kind of tired so asked dad to pick me up from Aljunied MRT Station. So I took a train down from Kallang. Slept around 11.45pm. Oh yes, as you can see, my title. Something else made me way happy too! (But not as happy as collecting can food) Not going to tell you. I feel like collecting it on 28/12. But not free on that day, got something on... Howhowhow? - We did sharing(s) yesterday. The questions were somewhat like that: Have you ever received a special gift? Yup. So what I shared with my group was about the trust my brother gives me. Really, it is indeed special to me. It may seem minute to others but its special to me. I believe in having mutual trust with the opposite party. Once we have mutual trust, it'll be easier to confide in one another. |
